Disclosure policy
How Music Insight labels sponsored work, loaned gear and other relationships.
Hubs
Readers should be able to see why a sentence exists.
If a page is paid for, it will say so at the top. If a tool was loaned, the gear piece will say so. If a guest writer has an employer who benefits from the procedure, the bio will say so. If we have no such relationship, we will not decorate the page with a fake “partner” badge.
We do not use numbered affiliate roundups. We do not invent a discount code. We do not let a sponsor write a ranking.
Corrections to disclosures use the contact form. Silence is not a disclosure.
Declaring a relationship?
Say so in the pitch. We will say so on the page.
