The Whitlams announce 25th anniversary tour

The Whitlams are bringing their 25th anniversary celebrations to a rambunctious close with a series of pub gigs across Australia mid next year.

Following the success of their spectacular 2017 orchestral tour, The Whitlams have announced that they will be returning to their roots, making their way across several pubs and intimate theaters from the beginning of May until June 23, 2018.

The four-piece indie rock band are set to play a total of 14 shows across the nation, and will be joined by Australian singer-songwriters Alex Lloyd and Deborah Conway as the supporting acts for their Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Adelaide shows.
Western Australian fans can rest easy, as Tim Freedman took to his Facebook page to announce that the band will be hitting Perth later in the year, though official dates have yet to be confirmed.

The Whitlams intend to make each night memorable by jamming out to renowned favourites, as well as some rarer cuts from their first two albums, Introducing and Undeniably. It’s shaping up to be a worthwhile celebration of this significant milestone.
