WAAX release new single and announce national tour

Brisbane vibe-punks WAAX just don’t take a breath.

The powerhouse group has just unveiled their brand new single Wild and Weak; they’re dropping an EP (of the same name); and, they have announced their biggest national headline tour to date.

And they’re ready to go.

Wild and Weak tales of denial and is the first stage in a five step journey exploring the ‘internal’.

“Our first EP was a lot more external – so, it felt like the next evolutive step to explore my inner workings and coincidentally a timely post-traumatic deep-hole started forming within me,” said singer-songwriter Marie De Vita.

“These songs are a step-by-step documentation of what I went through – the steps of finding peace with my past.”

The denial. The disorientation. The pattern. The discussion. The acceptance.

All these steps laid bare over five emotional tracks.

Having just finished supporting Melbourne rockers Kingswood on national tour, WAAX have nothing but momentum behind them and show no sign of slowing down.

Wild and Weak EP is out June 2.
