Tash Sultana to headline Lost Picnic
The lineup for Lost Picnic has been announced and there is a strong antipodean feel to it.
Having already announced festival dates including a debut show in Melbourne, the Lost Picnic organisers have released an incredible array of Australian and New Zealand artists, headlined by Tash Sultana.
Lost Picnic will be Tash Sultana’s first two Australian shows following the release of her highly anticipated debut album and new single ‘Salvation.’
The self-taught singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has been making waves around the world, and will be performing an extended set. Fans will be guaranteed a performance to remember, feasting on plenty of new material.
Joining Tash Sultana on the bill will be talents such as Meg Mac, Marlon Williams, Odette, Sons of the East, Big Words and Hot Potato Band.
The organisers looked to crafted a comprehensive lineup of local artists befitting of the festival’s bohemian nature, with roving theatrical performers blending in the crowd throughout the event.
After beginning in 2014, Lost Picnic has expanded its tour dates to cater for audiences across several states. The boutique festival will make its debut at Melbourne’s Flemington Nursery on 7 October, before returning to Sydney’s Domain on 13 October.
Founder, Simon Beckingham, believes the event will hit the right note with fans.
“We are passionate about delivering an event that both Sydney and Melbourne can be proud of, an experience that supports Aussie artists and local food heroes.”
