SUPER CRUEL debut stunning video for ‘November’ feat. Lisa Mitchell
New Aussie electronic duo SUPER CRUEL have just released the stunning video for their debut single November featuring Lisa Mitchell.
The super group consists of Adelaide’s Tigerilla (Matthew Khabbaz) and Sydney’s Porsches (Jesse Sewell). Together, the two brilliantly meld their production styles and on top of that recruit the hypnotic vocals of Lisa Mitchell.
“In a time where love is blurred, we hoped to show a nostalgic take on adolescence and the juxtaposition between love in a relationship and lust for a moment,” said Sewell.
The video beautifully (and aesthetically) depicts the euphoric rollercoaster of young love, starring YouTube vlogger Cartia Mallan, and Mason-Hamilton Smith.
“It’s a tribute to a strong feeling that you may have once had at the start of a relationship, which has now burned out. We think it’s important to explore real themes that people can relate to.”
It’s an incredibly strong debut single that’s got many (including the Music Insight team) excited. We can’t wait to see what they do next.
November is currently on full rotation at Triple J.
SUPER CRUEL will be performing live at Splendour in the Grass in July.
