Queens Of The Stone Age announce exclusive Hobart acoustic show

Queens Of The Stone Age have announced an exclusive, intimate one-off performance in Hobart as a part of their huge Australian tour, kicking off in two weeks.

The gig will be an entirely acoustic show at Nolan Gallery, Mona (Museum of Old and New Art), taking place on Monday, September 3.

“Playing Tasmania is special for me. I sit with Brody’s Mum and enjoy the wild, utterly Australian beauty. I think Mona is a perfect example of Tassie individuality, so playing there is an honour,” says lead singer, Joshua Homme.

The rockers will donate all proceeds from the show to the Royal Hobart Hospital Children’s Ward to assist in buying equipment and support the hospital’s paediatric services team.

The band have a string of shows starting late this month, with dates and details down below.

Tickets for the Hobart show are on sale now via mona.net.au
