PNAU announce supporting acts for Australian tour
Fresh from the successful release of their latest album, Changa, Australian dance music mainstays PNAU have added some exciting local talent to their upcoming Australian tour.
Kuren, aka Curtis Kennedy, is a 20 year old electronic producer from Sydney. In 2016, Kuren won Triple J’s Unearthed NIMAs, a competition that showcases indigenous talent.
In more recent times, Kuren has unveiled his latest single ‘Never Enough,’ the first ahead of his debut LP Melting Conceptually, which is due for release at the end of the month.
Meanwhile, vocalist and producer Clypso is one of the most chameleon-like artists around right now, with influences extending from afrobeat to atari-esque synths.
The Sydney-based artist has grown quite the collection of achievements in the past year, including reaching the Top 10 on the Australian Viral 50 Spotify playlist, and being named Triple J Unearthed’s Artist of the Week and FBi’s Independent Artist of the Week.
PNAU have taken the world by storm in recent years, with singles “Chameleon,” and “Go Bang” hitting viral status on radios and club floors around the globe. With Kuren and Clypso added to the ballot, their tour is set to be a must for electronic music fans.
With the Splendour in the Grass and and the Melbourne leg of their tour already sold out, fans will want to be quick to secure tickets to see one of our most celebrated electronic exports.
