Pass the Mascara – Killing Heidi are about to hit the road
Get ready to party like it’s the year 2000: Killing Heidi are about to hit the road on their first tour in more than a decade.
Twenty years ago, siblings Ella and Jesse Hooper topped the charts with indie rock anthems like Mascara and Weir, with their debut album Reflector taking out four ARIA awards.
Fans can hear those well-loved tracks live when the band plays theatres across the country in early June.
Speaking about the tour, frontwoman Ella said Killing Heidi live was “always where it was at” for her.
“I feel we’re better than ever now as we’ve never stopped playing music and we can dial it up to a whole new level – but the essence is the same,” she said.
“It’s exciting and emotional for both us and the fans.”
Guitarist Jesse said he was looking forward to performing the band’s much-loved songs live.
The group will play their biggest hits from early singles through to later releases like I Am and Calm Down.
The tour kicks off in Perth on June 2.
