Paramore announce new album ‘After Laughter’

Nashville rockers Paramore will release their fifth studio album After Laughter on May 12.

It’s the Grammy-winning band’s first new album in more than four years and fans can get a taste of the album with first single Hard Times released yesterday.

After Laughter was recorded in Paramore’s hometown, at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio B. The album is produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen and Paramore’s own Taylor York, and marks the return of original member Zac Farro to the band.

Paramore formed back in 2004, releasing their debut album All We Know Is Falling in 2005. Since then, they’ve taken the world by storm with their high-energy rock and roll, earning four Grammy nominations and one win.

They’re incredibly popular in Australia, scoring several ARIA top 10 singles for the likes of Still Into You and Ain’t It Fun, while 2009 smash hit The Only Exception reached number 14.
