Neil Diamond is bringing his 50th anniversary tour to Australia in 2018
Neil Diamond will perform in Australia as part of his 50 Year Anniversary Tour in March and April 2018.
The tour celebrates Diamond’s illustrious career and hits such as ‘Cherry Cherry’, ‘Holly Holy’, ‘Cracklin’ Rosie’, ‘Song Sung Blue’ and ‘You Don’t Bring Me Flowers’.
The Australian leg of Diamond’s tour will kick off with with stadium shows in Townsville and the Sunshine Coast followed by a series of arenas and wineries.
Diamond created defining hits for generations over his five-decade career. He has sold over 130 million albums worldwide, winning Grammys, a Golden Globe and the prestigious Kennedy Center Honor.
He is a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame and a recipient of the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award.
Promoter Paul Dainty called Diamond “one of the world’s greatest live performers”.
“I am honoured to be working with him on his 50 Year Anniversary Tour and bringing him to cities and venues he has never played,” Dainty said.
“To see him perform the songs that have been the soundtrack of our lives will be an incredible live concert experience.”
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 2pm local time on Thursday 16 November, with a Telstra presale from 2pm on Tuesday 14th.
