Marlon Williams to tour Australia in support of new album ‘Make Way For Love’

New Zealand-born and part-time Melburnian Marlon Williams will tour Australia in May 2018, coinciding with the release of his second album, Make Way For Love.

Known for his smooth tones and distinctive voice, Williams had success songs like ‘Dark Child’ and ‘Strange Things’ from his self-titled 2015 debut album.  His recent single ‘Vampire Again’ continues to gain traction.

A string of awards and notable accolades from industry heavyweights has given Williams the encouragement to continue to grace us with his original and poignant songwriting.  Williams’ new album features eleven tracks of musical variance in a self-described original, revealing break-up record. A feature song, ‘Nobody Gets What They Want Anymore’, recorded with ex-girlfriend Aldous Harding, gives fans a personal and genuine insight into their relationship.

Williams has spent the last two years touring internationally and has enjoyed stints supporting Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, festivals including Latitude and Austin City Limits. Joining Marlon as support will be Toronto singer-songwriter Tamara Lindeman and her band known as The Weather Station.

Fans can catch Williams in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney.

General tickets are on sale from Thursday November 16.
