LCD Soundsystem team up with Nick Murphy for Aus/NZ Tour
Generation defining Brooklyn group, LCD Soundsystem are returning to Australia in 2018.
Formed in New York City by James Murphy in 2002, LCD Soundsystem will return for what promises to be the hottest shows of the summer. The February tour includes two massive outdoor gigs in Melbourne and Brisbane, as well as an exclusive headline date in Auckland, NZ.
As if this news wasn’t enough, Nick Murphy (formerly Chet Faker) has been announced as a special guest for the tour, ensuring quality from start to close. To describe these shows as massive would be an understatement.
The Tour announcement follows the release of LCD Soundsystem’s fourth studio album, American Dream. The 10-track disc, that was released in September this year, is the first new music from the Brooklyn outfit in seven years, landing LCD their first ever number one debut on the US Billboard Albums Chart.
Spots for these shows will be hotly contested, so be proactive and get in early.
Tickets for all shows go on sale Thursday 30 November, which you can access here.
