Josh Groban announces new record, ‘Bridges’
Award winning artist Josh Groban has announced the latest edition to his rich discography, Bridges, will be released via Reprise Records on the 21st of September.
Bridges is Groban’s eigth studio album, and his first since 2015’s Stages, a record that climbed to #2 on the ARIA Albums chart. This release will also be the first to include original music since 2013’s All That Echoes.
The album was recorded in different cities around the world. The record also sees Groban’s linguistic talent shine through, with the artist singing in numerous languages (including French, Italian and Spanish.)
There will be a couple duets on offer as well, but fans will have to wait a little longer to find out exactly who they are.
It has been a busy period for Groban. In June, he co-hosted the 72nd Annual Tony Awards with Sara Bareilles at Radio City Music Hall, and has just finished filming for Netflix series, The Good Cop, where he will star alongside Tony Danza.
For those eager fans wanting to get a taste of Bridges before it’s release, anyone who preorders the album will have access to three new songs, including the latest single, ’Granted.’
New details on Bridges will follow before its release, including the names of Groban’s duet partners, so keep your eyes peeled.
