Green Day confirm huge 2017 Australian tour
After days of speculation, US pop-punk juggernauts Green Day have locked in a string of tour dates around the country in April and May next year in support of their latest record, Revolution Radio.
The pioneers were last in the country for 2014’s Soundwave Festival, and have just recently burst back onto the scene after releasing their new single Bang Bang in August.
The Rock’N’Roll Hall Of Famers will kick off the tour with a mix of new material and classics such as Basket Case, American Idiot and more at Perth Arena on Sunday, April 30 before heading to Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland.
Revolution Radio hits shelves today via Warner Music.
Ticket presales for the tour open on Tuesday, 11th October via Idiot Nation; Frontier will be selling tickets to members from Thursday, 13th October; and general sale tickets become available from the following Tuesday, 18th October via Ticketek.
