Glades release new single ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ ahead of Listen Out

Sydney’s talented electronic-pop trio Glades have come out with a brand new single, ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ – an uplifting yet bittersweet dance track.

Glades describes the track ”is about coming to the realisation in a relationship that something needs to change, when you’ve been letting somebody take advantage of your love.”

“It’s about having the courage and self-respect to see and call it what it is, when they are blindly comfortable.”

‘Eyes Wide Shut’ follows on from the certified ARIA Gold single ‘Do Right’ and triple j’s #1 most played track Not About You’.

The band is currently at work finishing their debut album in LA.

Comprised of vocalist Karina Wykes and multi-instrumentalist producers Cameron Robertson and Joseph Wenceslao, Glades captured ears with the release ‘Drive’ in 2016.

The band has since appeared on the recent FEKI single, ‘Love You Better’.

Having undertaken sold out headline shows across Australia and the U.S., Glades are all set to perform at Listen Out Festival 2018 later this month, alongside A$AP Rocky, Skrillex, Snake Hips, Confidence Man and others.

‘Eyes Wide Shut’ is out now.
