Falls Festival 2019 Sideshows are revealed: Toto, Interpol and more

As the temperature begins to rise the clock is counting down to the fast approaching Falls Festival, and with it comes an insane list of international talents coming to hit the stage with the best ever summer sideshows.

The mix of iconic hitmakers and up-and-comers will head Down Under to make waves across Sydney and Melbourne in January 2019.

First up, there’s nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do to keep Toto away from Falls, bringing with them their nostalgic and timeless hits such as ‘Africa’, ‘Rosanna’ and ‘Hold The Line’.

Toto will perform at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Thursday 3 January and Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Friday 4 January.

Coming to Australia to showcase their new album Marauder is New York post-punk-post-rock band Interpol, performing at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Friday 4 January and the Sydney Opera House on Saturday 5 January.

English rockers The Vaccines will celebrate the release of their latest album Combat Sports at Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom on Thursday 3 January and Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Friday 4 January.

Indie-based soul and R&B star Bishop Briggs will bring her powerful voice for an exclusive show at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Tuesday 8 January.

Irishman Dermot Kennedy will be performing at Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom on Wednesday 9 January and Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Thursday 10 January, joined by special guest rising British singer-songwriter Sam Fender.

Nashville’s own Soccer Mommy will be heading out to take over Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Wednesday 2 January and Melbourne’s Howler on Monday 7 January.

Finally, making their first visit to Australia is the eclectic Hobo Johnson and the Lovemakers, commemorating their time here with an exclusive performance at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Saturday 5 January.

With this many international acts you’d be crazy to want to miss out on witnessing them live in the summer, so make sure you snap up those tickets fast.
