Exclusive Premiere: Fripps & Fripps drop video for new single ‘Pest Control’

Audacious Sydney indie-rockers Fripps & Fripps have burst forth from their Cronulla garage with another banger in the form of new single, ‘Pest Control’.

Taken as the second teaser track from their upcoming sophomore EP, ‘Pest Control’ has launched alongside a hilarious video clip, which we’re proud to unveil for the first time anywhere.

“Pest Control is a song about passion,” explained the boys.

“It bleeds raw energy and attempts to make you want to get up and take action. The song is rooted in the idea of standing up for what you believe in and tries to balance feelings of anger, happiness, and fun.”

Fripps & Fripps, which is comprised of Bailey Stevenson, Michael Tran, Keith Anderson and Jacob Ingram, first amassed a cult following in Sydney’s indie scene with the successful launch of their debut EP, Feeler On The Roof. Since then they’ve been playing packed gigs around the city, culminating in an upcoming appearance alongside Gang of Youths at the 2018 Mountain Sounds Festival.

On top of all that, the band have been hard at work crafting a follow-up to Feeler, and the ‘Pest Control’ clip gives us a taste of the facetious undertones we can expect on the record.

“The video encompasses everything that Fripps & Fripps represents. We’re a young band with a childish attitude and that is expressed in the clip.

“It shows us breaking into different scenarios uninvited, and leaving having recruited everybody to our artistic empire. At the end of the day, its all a joke, but it still acts as a metaphor for our desire to grow as a band and bring everyone who enjoys what we do along with us.”
