Charli XCX drops video for new single ‘5 In The Morning’, announces Australian Tour dates
Charli XCX has just released the music video to her track ‘5 In The Morning’, her first solo release this year. Along with this, she has also been recently announced as the second support act for Taylor Swift’s reputation tour.
After being signed to Asylum Records in 2010, Charli XCX has been hard at work steadily releasing music over these past few years.
So far, she has two studio albums under her belt, True Romance and Sucker, as well as four mixtapes and two EPs. Perhaps however, she is best known for featuring in two hit singles ‘Fancy’ by Iggy Azalea and ‘I Love It’ by Icona Pop, both of which have reached #1 on the charts.
Her new single, ‘5 In The Morning’ is a bit different to what we’d usually expect from Charli XCX, with more of an R&B influence coming through in the production. With her spectacular vocals paired with a slow, bass-heavy beat, it seems to be signalling a new era for the singer.
Fans can get the chance to catch her down-under in October and November supporting Taylor Swift’s reputation album tour alongside Camila Cabello. If you can manage to snag a ticket to any of these upcoming tour dates, it’s sure to be a pop-lovers dream.
Tickets for Taylor Swift’s reputation tour are on sale now and you can find them here. Check out the tour dates and the video for ‘5 In The Morning’ below.
