Blair Dunlop announces Aussie tour dates
Award-winning British singer, songwriter and guitarist Blair Dunlop has announced his long-awaited return to Australia, performing headline shows in Sydney and Cronulla, as well as appearances at a number of boutique festivals.
Blair will be joining fellow UK folksters Josienne Clarke & Ben Walker at the Port Fairy Folk Festival in Victoria, before appearances at Melbourne’s Thornbury Theatre and Sydney’s Blue Mountains Music Festival.
Known for his captivating vocals and introspective lyrics, Dunlop snagged the prestigious Horizon Award at the 2013 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, as well as the Special Jury Prize at the 2014 Premio Ciampi in Livorno, Italy.
Most recently, he has been in the studio with producer Ed Harcourt (Sophie Ellis Bextor, Paloma Faith) working on a new album, to follow up 2016’s Gilded.
