Bad Pony drops new EP and national tour dates
Sydney-based indie-rock band Bad Pony just dropped their long-awaited sophomore EP Deficiency on June 6.
To celebrate, they’ve also announced they’ll be touring nationally in support of the new EP.
Bad Pony have seen quite a bit of success since the release of their debut EP Limbo back in 2015 and won the Australian Music Week Award in 2018. Keeping busy, the band have been on five national tours since 2016 as well as playing a few international festivals. Now with the release of Deficiency, we can likely see a bright and successful future ahead for Bad Pony.
Bad Pony will be kicking off their national tour in Melbourne on the 15th of June and finishing up in Brisbane on June 30. Accompanying them on this tour, is indie-rock band Wharves. Forming back in 2016, Wharves have already seen their fair share of success playing festivals such as Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival.
Deficiency is a harder, grittier EP compared to the band’s debut. With distorted guitars and driving drums, it seems like Bad Pony have found a sound that works for them.
Deficiency was released on June 6.
