Alex Lahey announces extensive ‘Huge and True’ tour
Fresh off landing a top forty finish in Triple J’s Hottest 100, Alex Lahey has announced an extensive Australian headline tour.
The ‘Huge and True’ tour will see Lahey travel all around the country in support of her critically acclaimed debut album I Love You Like a Brother, which was recently voted one of Triple J’s Album of the Year.
The six-date tour kicks off in Brisbane at The Triffid on April 7, before wrapping up in Lahey’s home state of Victoria, at The Barwon Club in Geelong on April 21.
Last year was a huge breakout year for Lahey, which included a sold out Australia tour and US television appearance on Late Night with Seth Myers. Judging by how 2018 has started, she doesn’t look like she’ll be slowing down any time soon.
As one of the most promising homegrown acts around at the moment, Lahey’s unique brand of indie rock is certain to make this upcoming run of shows one of the most highly anticipated tours of the year.
Tickets are on sale now, with information listed below.
