Timmy Nelson announces new single ‘Oh My’

Willeton’s own Timothy Nelson has just released his new single, ‘Oh My’. Nelson is currently touring nationwide, making his next stop at The Foundry in Brisbane on Nov 15.

The talented singer-songwriter has been creating music for the past decade, previously fronting Timothy Nelson & The Infidels, High Horse, as well as The Kill Devils Hills.

Nelsons catchy ‘Oh My’ has genuine potential to become 2017/18 summer’s anthem.

It’s an alt-country power-pop story pf failed relationships, that somehow leaves an optimistic aftertaste.  For Nelson, it’s a song very close to his heart.

“It’s about trying to move beyond a crossroads, and realizing it was the wrong direction to go in,” he said.

“All that doom and gloom about self-sabotage, It’s a real party starter.”

Listen to the tune here and see what you think yourself.

The track was recorded by Dan Carroll in Perth with Timothy and the entire band at Rada Studios, and mixed it with renowned Nashville producer Stephen Mowatt.

“After a few big nights out with Stephen in Nashville back in May, we ended up in a Dropbox marathon, showing each other every song we’d ever worked on” said Nelson.

“I knew I’d be doing another record with Dan, and Steve seemed like a perfect fit to mix the new material. [He] took this new track to the next level.”
