Paul McCartney set to announce first Australian tour in 24 years
Sir Paul McCartney will announce details of his highly anticipated tour of Australia and New Zealand with a special Facebook Live event on Wednesday.
The Beatles megastar hasn’t toured here since 1993, and fans are likely to be clamouring for tickets to his One on One tour as soon as they’re released.
McCartney is staying tight-lipped about the dates and other arrangements, but you can tune in on Facebook and learn them first-hand.
The star will also be answering questions submitted by fans. You can submit yours via McCartney’s Facebook page.
Possibly the most successful band of all time, the Beatles have sold around 600 million albums worldwide with 1.6 billion singles sold in the US alone.
McCartney has released 24 albums as a solo artist and with his band Wings.
In 1997, he was knighted in 1997 for his services to music.
Hit up McCartney’s Facebook page to hear from the man himself at 7.30pm AEST Wednesday, June 21.
