The National Release New Album ‘Sleep Well Beast’

Indie rock gentlemen The National are returning down under in support of their just-released seventh LP, Sleep Well Beast.

The 12-track album has the band continue their reign as critic’s darlings and purveyors of highbrow modern rock.

As if the pile of accolades already earned from their past releases isn’t evidence enough, Sleep Well Beast sees them earning even more adoring reviews.

After a listen of perfect-for-cloudy-days-of-introspection single, Day I Die, it’s easy to understand why.

Come February 2018, the group will embark on their (kind of) Australian tour with stops in Brisbane, Melbourne, and two shows at the Sydney Opera House.

While it’s a shame they’re yet another act to not bother with Perth or Adelaide, with the first Sydney show already sold-out, there’s obviously some high demand so you might wanna get tickets while you can.

The tour presents the first chance for Aussie fans to hear the Sleep Well Beast tracks live, and also an opportunity to experience the rich goodness of their back catalogue favourites.

Sleep Well Beast is out now. Listen to the record here.
