Jack Johnson announces Australian summer tour beneath the stars

Multi-platinum selling folk singer-songwriter Jack Johnson has announced his return to Australia for a series of outdoor concerts this December, in support of his seventh studio album All The Light Above It Too.

The Jack Johnson 2017 Summer Tour will see Johnson performing under the stars at some of Australia’s most scenic outdoor venues including on the Sydney Opera House Forecourt, Brisbane’s Riverstage, Kings Park and Botanic Garden in Perth, and Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Fans can expect a string of classic Johnson favourites including Better Together, Flake, Banana Pancakes, Taylor, Sitting, Waiting, Wishing and more, plus songs from the new album.

Johnson released his debut album Brushfire Fairytales in 2001, and has since released another six studio and two live albums — four of which went to #1 in Australia.

All The Light Above It Too is the follow-up album to 2013’s From Here to Now to You and returns Johnson to a stripped-back feel we all know and love.

Accompanying Johnson down under will be special guest and Brushfire Records labelmate Bahamas.

Is there a better way to spend a summer night than listening to Jack Johnson under the stars?

Tickets go on sale 11am (local time) Monday 11 September.

Telstra presale begins 10am (local time) Wednesday 6 September.

All The Light Above It Too is out Friday 8 September.
