Hanson will return to Australia on their ‘Middle of Everywhere’ world tour
Just when you thought your days of dancing a little too enthusiastically to MMMBop as an adult were over, the Hanson boys want you to do it one more time.
The Grammy-nominated sibling trio will celebrate their 25th anniversary as a band by announcing the Middle Of Everywhere World Tour, including an Australian leg hitting our shores this June.
The tour will kick off on May 21 in the band’s hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma and will cover Europe and North America. The Australian leg includes Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Gold Coast and Brisbane.
“Making music together for 25 years is a milestone that we had to acknowledge, and what better way to do it than an anniversary tour,” said middle brother Taylor Hanson.
2017 also marks the 20th anniversary of the band’s debut album Middle of Nowhere, which features the aforementioned smash hit single MMMBop.
The band will release a compilation album Middle Of Everywhere – The Greatest Hits this year featuring hit singles Mmmbop, Where’s The Love, Weird and more, plus their brand new single I Was Born.
“This year is not only about the two decades of music, it’s about celebrating the incredible community of fans who have been with us, singing along year after year,” added oldest brother and guitarist Isaac Hanson.
