Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett releases video for new single ‘Sticks and Stones’

Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett has just released the official video for his new single Sticks and Stones.

The track is the second single from Shiflett’s upcoming solo album West Coast Town out on April 14.

Premiering on Beats 1 Radio last week, the single’s jubilant video is a live performance of Shiflett and his band rocking to the country-punk song in a stark room.

According to Rolling Stone, “Shiflett is upholding a long tradition of bringing a little punk to country on the jangly garage-rocker.”

Sticks and Stones is the follow-up single to West Coast Town, the album’s title track released in February.

Shiflett worked on the 10-track album with two Grammy winners in producer Dave Cobb and engineer/mixer Matt Ross-Spang, recording it at Nashville’s legendary RCA Studio A.

On working with Cobb, Shiflett says: “His input on and arrangements of my songs took them into places I wouldn’t have imagined.”

West Coast Town is now available for pre-order.
