Casey Donovan announces new EP and National Tour

After a long hiatus from the music scene, Casey Donovan has released a new EP and announced a national tour following the release of “Lonely” earlier this year in May.

While the New South Wales native took a break from music, she became involved in shows like I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in March, as well as fronting the new advertising campaign for Coles. However, she has credited her time as an Uber driver for funding the recording and release of her new EP.

The EP officially was announced with a message from Casey via her Facebook social media platform.

“This EP is something that I am extremely proud of. It’s an amazing feeling to hear, see, feel and watch your love form a magical bond through melodies that are my soul breaking out of my body and into people’s ears through to their hearts. What a great way to get back out into the music industry with 6 Original New Tracks.”

The 29 year old has amassed numerous awards during her thirteen year career, the first being the youngest ever Australian Idol winner in 2004, including an ARIA for ‘Listen with Your Heart’ and three DEADLY awards for Best Album, Best Single and Most Promising New Talent.

The “Off the Grid & Somewhere In Between” eight night tour begins 15 September in Brisbane.

The EP and tickets for all shows are on sale now.
